What we do with the details you give us, in plain words.
In this example nothing is collected. The forms and bookings run inside your browser only. Nothing you type or attach is sent, stored or seen by anyone. This site sets no cookies and has no tracking. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address so the page can load and stay protected. The text below shows what a real Kestle Motors privacy notice would say.

What we collect and why
- When you book, ask for a price or send a message: your name, phone number, email if you give it, details about your car, what you write and any photos. We use them to reply, price the job and book you in (steps before a contract, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- When we work on your car or sell you one: your name, address, the car's registration and the work done, for the invoice and the records the law asks us to keep (Article 6(1)(c)).
- MOT and service reminders by text, only if you ask for them (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You can stop them at any time.
Who sees it
Only our team. Our website host and our email provider process the data for us under a written contract. We never sell your details or pass them to marketing firms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a job: 12 months. Invoices and sales records: 6 years, as the tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see your details, correct them, or have them deleted where the law allows. Email us and we reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
